JEP Interns
For ages 12 to 16. Three months to one year. Interns work inside EGE’s social enterprise across administration, digital marketing services and entrepreneurship development.
Roots Fellows
For ages 16 to 24. Five months. Fellows are trained as outdoor education program leaders.
A real pathway to employment
Participants aged 16 and over may apply for paid Program Coordinator positions after completing the fellowship, subject to availability.
Volunteer
Community educators, facilitators and event volunteers support programs across Sacramento.

EGE is a small, Black-led organization doing this work in Sacramento, in Texas and in Uganda. Support goes straight into programs for young people.
