Local roots, global vision

The same water, two coastlines.

Young people from Sacramento and from Uganda learn the same curriculum and teach each other what it means where they live.

Our global approach

EGE works in partnership rather than in parallel. Programs are designed with local organizations who hold the relationships, the knowledge and the leadership in their own communities.

The work in Uganda

EGE first partnered with the Little Children of Jesus Project in 2024. The relationship runs through education, children’s ministry, agriculture, sustainability and community development, and it is led on the ground by Ugandan organizations rather than directed from Sacramento.

In February 2026 EGE returned for the LCJP Symposium, where EGE’s founder served as Lead US Delegation Program Director, and visited school and project sites across the country. Alongside LCJP, EGE partners with Farm2Pocket, a 22-acre working farm at Kapeeka running a piggery, more than a thousand chickens and sugar cane under cultivation.

Young people in Sacramento and young people in Uganda learn from the same curriculum, and each group teaches the other what it means where they live. Curriculum sales and tour earnings return to the project sites directly.
