Social Enterprise Marketplace
EGE Foundation operates as a social enterprise through the Jr. EGE Pioneers Program, where youth gain leadership, professional development, and entrepreneurial skills through real-world, service-based learning. As participants complete training, they work directly on projects that support small businesses, solopreneurs, and nonprofit organizations by providing digital marketing, administrative, and volunteer support. These paid, hands-on experiences allow youth to apply their skills while meeting real community needs. Participants also design and create educational materials and handcrafted products sold as EGE merchandise, generating earned revenue that supports youth stipends, programming, and the long-term sustainability of the organization.

Track project updates through our Global Roots Editorial, a newsletter highlighting the US initiatives as a campaign, deeply connected to our international mission work with the Little Children of Jesus Project in Uganda, a partner of the Sacramento Uganda Ministry Network. There, children and families are empowered through sustainable agriculture, rabbit farming, and holistic education programs. As we model healthy food systems here in Sacramento, we echo and uplift the efforts happening in East Africa—growing together through mutual care and shared learning.
