Family & Community Camp Experience
- Year- Round Opportunities
- CA Statewide Trips
The EGE Out! Family & Community Camp Experience is a 3-day outdoor retreat bringing together family groups and community guests for nature-based bonding, rest, and shared learning. With meals, games, and group activities sponsored by EGE Foundation, the camp centers cultural restoration, environmental connection, and intergenerational joy. Activities include storytelling, scavenger hunts, water play, and campfire circles—all designed to create a welcoming, healing space in nature.
This unique program is more than just a camping trip—it’s a space for healing, connection, and empowerment where families come together to strengthen bonds, explore nature, and build community resilience. Many BIPOC communities face barriers to accessing outdoor spaces due to systemic inequities. Our camp experience is designed to break those barriers, providing a safe, inclusive environment where families can reconnect with nature and learn new skills.
EGE Sponsorship Includes: Pre-Paid Campsite Reservations | Breakfast & Dinner (2nd Day) | Camp Activities & Games | Loaner camping gear (limited) | Group T-shirts
Learn on the go with the EGE Out! Environmental Education Workbooks—designed to make environmental learning accessible anywhere life takes you. Each workbook features engaging lessons, reflection prompts, and hands-on activities exploring topics such as ecosystems, water, agriculture, climate awareness, and environmental stewardship. Perfect for youth, families, and educators, the workbook can be used as a classroom resource, a teaching tool for programs, an activity book for travel, or a companion for family camping trips and outdoor adventures.
EGE Out! Workbooks connect youth and families to the environment wherever they are—at home, outdoors, or on the move. With every workbook purchased, one copy is donated to schools and community center sites supported through Little Children of Jesus Project (LCJP) initiatives in Uganda, extending learning and impact across borders.
